Large French Stoneware Table Bin

A wonderful example of traditional stoneware with this large French stoneware table bin, featuring the traditional inscription “Poubelle de table” — meaning table bin. Its generously rounded form, fitted lid and small side handles give it a wonderfully practical yet decorative quality.

The handcrafted finish is full of authentic character, with horizontal grooves and vertical marks across the sides adding texture and highlighting the individuality of the piece. The warm honey-toned glaze gives it an effortlessly rustic feel, perfect for a French country, farmhouse or modern country kitchen.

The underside is marked “Grès Village France”, adding to its French provenance and appeal. Whether used as originally intended or simply displayed as a distinctive piece of vintage French pottery, this table bin makes a beautiful addition to a well-loved kitchen or home.
